HAN all set to promote NTY 2011 amongst Thai

Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) is preparing itself to promote Nepal Tourism Year 2011(NTY). A 70-member HAN delegation is leaving for Bangkok today to make preparations for Nepal Tourism Year 2011 (NTY) in conjunction with the Nepali embassy in Thailand and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).


Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) is preparing itself to promote Nepal Tourism Year 2011(NTY). A 70-member HAN delegation is leaving for Bangkok today to make preparations for Nepal Tourism Year 2011 (NTY) in conjunction with the Nepali embassy in Thailand and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

According to reports, HAN is also holding a Nepal Night in Bangkok on Tuesday to promote destination Nepal among reputed hotel entrepreneurs, travel agents, tour operators, prominent locals, international media personalities and high government officials of Thailand.

The programme will be jointly inaugurated by Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari and Thailand’s Tourism Minister.

It will be zeroed in on meeting the target of bringing one million tourists to Nepal in 2011 as envisioned by NTY.

Minister Bhandari, Thailand’s Tourism Minister, Nepal’s ambassador to Thailand Naveen Prakash Jung Shah, acting governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, senior vice-president of Asia Pacific, Thai Airways officials and chairman of PATA International will take part in the fair.

Prominent travel agents & tour operators of Thailand will have Business to Business (B2B) meeting with Nepali hotel entrepreneurs, it is learnt.
